Meet the Team
Mike Collins
Mike Collins is the President of Rainbow Seamless Systems (Rainbow Bath and Shower). He started the company in 1987 with his father, Pat, and brother, Matt Collins. Mike has worked in the home improvement industry for his entire career, holds a builders license through the State of Michigan and is the recipient of numerous awards in the home improvement industry.
He grew up in Harbor Springs and moved to Traverse City in 1989 where he continued to expand the business. Mike is passionate about customer service, quality products and the integrity of the company.
Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, and his four daughters Kayla, McKenna, Kami, and Emerson. Mike and his family enjoy all of the perk of Northern Michigan including boating, skiing, snowshoeing, biking, camping, fishing and savoring a local craft beer.
Matt Collins
Matt Collins is the Vice President of Rainbow Seamless Systems (Rainbow Bath and Shower). He has worked in the family business since 1987. Matt has worked not only with Rainbow Seamless, but also worked with several different contractors through his career to expand his knowledge of the industry. Matt’s favorite parts of working with Rainbow include meeting new prospective clients and working with customers to help solve problems.
Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, and his two daughters Lauren and Caroline while camping and boating and hunting. In his off time, Matt assists in organizing fundraisers for non-profits.
Skye Vedrode
Skye Vedrode is the office manager. She started working for Rainbow in 2005 and is the glue that holds the office together. Skye is passionate about photography, fitness and is a complete adrenaline junkie- she especially enjoys the thrill of skydiving. In her downtime, you can find Skye spending time with her family, hiking, kayaking and taking in all the beauty that Northern Michigan has to offer.
Tyler Barrett
Tyler is the Project Coordinator in charge of scheduling and ordering materials as well as supervising and training our professional installers. He has been with Rainbow Seamless Systems (Rainbow Bath and Shower) since 2003 after attending Michigan State University.
Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife, Courtney, and their two children and his black lab Jack. Tyler enjoys all the seasons Northern Michigan has to offer: skiing, camping, boating, morel mushroom hunting and beach volleyball.

We recently had a new shower installed in our master bathroom. Rainbow offered great pricing and service. The one day installation went flawlessly and with perfection. Installer Chris Carter and his partner Chris were very professional, courteous, and meticulous. They kept us informed every step of the process and diligent in keeping things clean and organized. We highly recommend Rainbow Bath and Chris Carter to do your bathroom.
Converting my bathtub into a walk-in shower was a wonderful experience. Jeff explained my options and explained the process. Tyler ordered the materials and scheduled the installation. Chris did the installation making sure the result is beautiful and long lasting. They were all very professional and respectful of me and my home. They hauled away the old tub and cleaned up after themselves. I am thrilled with the results and I would highly recommend Rainbow Bath and Shower.
I highly recommend Rainbow for any new showers. They replaced an old purple tub/shower combo that was well past its expiration date and installed a new walk-in shower. From our original consultation through installation day, Rainbow answered every single question and was so thorough. They were timely, friendly and so clean! I would 100% recommend and use them again.
Had my old fiberglass tub/shower replaced with one from Rainbow and am very happy with the results. Looks and feels great. Everything seems to be of very high quality. Installation only took about seven hours. Chris showed up exactly on time, was friendly, and did a great job. Zero complaints!

Our experience with Rainbow Bath and Shower was easy and affordable. They saved Us $1000.00 and was Very Professional. Our installer Chris Carter was exceptional in his knowledge and experience. I would Highly recommend this company as they have been a Joy to work with from start to finish. Chris was there maybe 6.5 hours and removed the garden tub and then installed our new Handiecap Walkin Shower. Rainbow shower is probably the only Professional fabricator installer in Northern Michigan. Thx again Chris and team!
